You can tell by the quality of equipment both sides currently have. The Ukrainians currently have far superior technology in comparison to the Russians. This guarantees victory in the long run. The Russians would never concede the territories that they have already conquered, which means ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia that doesn't end until one side loses completely.
Russia has had to stoop as low as making friends with North Korea to get additional weapons supplies and manpower. This shows that Russia has run out of places to get more equipment and soldiers from. It has also set South Korea against Russia and actively pro Ukraine.
Even if Trump got into power and stops supplying Ukraine, at this point in time it would not be enough to stop Ukraine from continuing the fight against Russia, as the NATO factories are up and running and capable of supplying Ukraine as well.
Check and mate. Ukraine wins. Russia loses.
Long term impact, Ukraine joins the EU, China completely takes over Russia in all but name, or maybe even in name.
When fighting the west, losing isn't an option.
