It probably jumped that high because they're worried tRump is going to be in the white house come next year, and will stop aid. If the US stops military aid, they won't be able to stop Russia from rolling into Kiev, unless the Euros really step up.

It was highest during Kharkiv offensive in 2022 but started failing and didn't even went up pre spring counteroffensive and went down after spring counteroffensive. They basically didn't captured any new settlements since 2022
Objectively changing of presidency shouldn't play any role to this conflict, Ukrainian started receiving lethal weapons during Trump
So as you see he was ready to even give them more if they would given him dirt on Hunter Biden
He now offers Ukraine start peace talk with Russia and if Russia don't start peace talk he will give unlimited weapons to Ukraine. They could play their cards right
