They only have the capacity to make around 20-30 new tanks a year because getting parts is nearly impossible due to sanctions. They also need to replace their howitzer cannon barrels which they also don't have the resources to do. China's quality is horrible so they aren't really an option. The longer the war drags on, the better it is for Ukrainian success so long as they continue to receive support internationally.
