The only downside is that their male to female ratio is already 87 men to 100 women.
That ratio is only going to get worse till the end of the war.
None of that has an impact on Putin.

Pretty much. Putin can't afford to lose this war and the only group that cares less for Russian lives than Russians themselves are their leaders. ) blowing up the natural gas pipeline doesn't allow Germany to throw Russia an economic lifeline when its over (you know they would have, day +1).
