I dont necessarily disagree, but I hate the way its going. If it keeps up like this russia is probably gonna win anyway, and all the money was pretty much wasted. Imo we should either stop sending any support, or start actually supporting with armed forces. Outside direct NATO intervention, that was always supposed to be the case. For Ukraine's sake, hopefully a Russian win with only meager gains. The West just wants to bloody Russia without getting their hands dirty and on that front its been a complete success with decades of irreplaceable soviet stockpiles being gutted and left burning on the fields of Ukraine.
Nordstream was an unexpected bonus so that Germany couldn't immediately pretend all was well post-war and go right back to throwing Russia an economic lifeline in natural gas purchases.

There's a bunch of poor bastards out there in Ukraine who are gonna get killed tonight, and Germans are whining about their economy. Ok and why do I need to care about these people? I have nothing to do with them. By that logic we would have to keep taking in every single refugee too, because as long as someone somewhere in the world is off worse than yourself, you cant have your own problems.
And I agree that shutting off nuclear was a dumbass move, but thats what you get when everyone is panicing about climate change, green energy and whatever. Plus the fearmongering over nuclear is insane.

@ILoveChapose is right, in its current state the war is fricking up everybody. Either Macron should've sent a 1000 tanks, drones and jets and threatened to nuke Moscow on day 3 of the war, or told Ukraine to surrender.
All we've achieved is that Ukraine is fricked, with many of their men dead, many women and children in Poland and Germany never looking to return.
Russia was fully exposed as pathetic militarily and their economy is bleeding.
And finally, Europe became more dependent on US and is also hurting economically. Electricity prices doubling or more, AFTER hundreds of billions in subsidies will have a lasting impact on industries.
