He's better off than Assad, though. Belarus is a major combatant contributor in Ukraine, so Russia wouldn't consider backing Belarussian state security as much a tradeoff to war resources as Syria would have been.

Russia lost in Syria and are loosing in Ukraine. I didn't know why they are trying to setup fake pretext for SMOs in Lithuania and Poland when they can't even handle the Ukies.
