Idk why but I hate firmament, flat earth, Qanon, geocentric, and the like type conspiracy theorists a lot more sincerely than the other reptilian, boomer ufo discloser, bigfoot, Illuminati, ghost hunter, ancient alien, colloidal silver, etc. types that are more endearing. It is something about their flavor of schizo that is different and more off putting to me. I think it might be because they try to wrap it up in Christianity and the Bible but don't know shit about either and truly have zero interest in the things of God, just a prideful belief of having esoteric wisdom. Or, that they think watching countless hours of r-slur youtube while in an altered state of mind constitutes “research”.

For me it's their smugness. Someone who believes in ghosts will earnestly try to convince you that whatever they witnessed actually happened but will rarely call you a bling cucked sheep. These weirdos act like not understanding the most basic things about physics, biology, distances or time is the peak of intelligence

Some of those things can even be positive. Like if we discovered aliens or bigfoot that would be really cool. It would expand our horizons and teach us new things. If the flat Earth is real, it means the universe is very small and boring. I wouldn't try so hard to prove that.
