Stakeknife was the head of IRA counterintelligence, the guy who decided which suspected traitors they should kill. Which was kind of ironic since he was a traitor, the best agent the British ever had. He's been tied to at least 14 murders so this whole thing is a bit controversial.
For years and years MI5 has been asked countless times if they had anything at all to do with him and they've always denied up into this year. They said army intelligence ran him and they didn't even know he existed.
Now it turns out that actually they were running the whole operation. They were telling army intelligence what to do and paying for it all. Everyone at MI5 has been lying this whole time, including 5 of its directors.
If you think the FBI or CIA are bad, this is a far far worse coverup than anything they've done. But nothing will end up happening because bongs just accept that there's an actual deep state accountable to no one.
