Unless you follow college wrestling this probably means nothing to you.

Starocci is the 3X champ with a 24-0 record this year wrestling for Penn State and Mason Paris won his first title this year finishing the year 33-0 at Michigan.

One of the criteria that was removed from the hodge trophy this year was past performance.

I think after my boy Spencer Lee and PSU's 133 pounder RBY lost in the NCAA's, Starocci thought he had the award in the beg.
