On one hand, it can be pretty shitty how a franchise that was very hush-hush about doing bad things ultimately absolved itself of no major reprecussions - and even get awarded with a generational talent as well!
But hey...I'm also a Hawks fan, so like, FRICK YOU WE WON THE TANK BOWL BABY

The Red Wings deserved 1st more. They've never drafted better than forth, despite having an all time bad record that season, and have never moved up in the draft in this format. Also no other team has dropped more places than Detroit.

If only they could have one more cups than Chicago since 1990
would have been 5 if it wasn't for that bogus Kroneall suspension.
But honestly, demolishing the Joe Louis arena probably cursed the team for all eternity.
