@dipfrick call him self a good boxer and shares his epic wisdom

Peekaboo is style famously used by Tyson, the shortest modern heavyweight fighter who used this style because of his short arms. This style also makes the user stand shorter since you need to bend to cover your full body. Tyson used this style because he needs to rush towards taller opponents and often in progress was hit so this defensive style helped him migrate the damage.

Why this stand is bad for talker guys:

  1. it reduce the effectiveness of jab and cross

  2. it makes back steeping harder and for tall guys a simple back steep can put them out of range of shorter guys

  3. it makes the taller guy stand shorter so reducing his height advantages

  4. it obscures view, a taller guy when he stands on regular stand he can see more oncoming punches and has more tools to evade them.

Peekaboo is in general a shit style because any decent tall guy can frick the shorter user that use this style and same happened with Mike Tyson, he meet a decent tall fighter and it was over for him.

Man now I wish I was in the ring with @dipfrick

You are one of the few tall fighters for whom peekaboo is recommended, Salvador. Your reach advantage over others is good, but you have a tendency to get punched in the face really hard and repeatedly. This is a bad strategy for boxing. I understand that peekaboo is ideal for a shorter boxer, it's just that you're pushing the limits of traumatic brain injury by refusing to actually protect your face. I can tell by reading your posts. Everyone can, man. And what, now you're going to lash out at me, for trying to help you? I just want you to be okay.

Simply put, you need to block punches with your arms, not your jaw and face, okay? Sound good?

You also skinny, you skinny butt muthafricka. It's called a barbell. Try lifting one sometime.
