I don't think that it is specifically called that anymore but they're full steam ahead on making it a thing over there. It will usurp soccer.

They're already splitting up the marketing rights to the countries that are most associated with that team. Steelers get Ireland, Saints get France, etc.

The steelers getting Ireland is obviously because of their mob dealings, but to not give them Bosnia as well is being disingenuous to the local population.

More money I would wager. In terms of being a business, the NFL right now is more popular and powerful than it has ever been. So, at least to me, it makes sense they would try to and leverage that into another EU venture.

It's a good product, the main complaint is commercials for those who watch at home. Which I would be pissy about too coming from a sport that has no ad breaks during the match.

Does it work I wonder? I'm guessing it's mostly Amerikkkans living abroad who attend. Then maybe the natives attend as a one off, but don't pay any attention to the rest of the season.

I just don't see how you'd get people into it with the schedule and time difference. Baseball does seem like an interesting sport but there's hundreds of games a season, they go on for hours and they're played during the middle of the night European time. It's one thing asking people to stay up the odd Saturday for say the NFL or UFC but it's just not practical to watch US baseball in Europe

There are a lot of games that start late morning to early afternoon. So Euros could enjoy those. Maybe the excessive commercials are too much for the Euros?

Is there even baseball fields in your average Euro city? Like London. How far you gotta walk to find a maintained baseball field? 2 weeks?

I don't understand why every time a woman expresses her fear of men, so many men take it as the woman hates men. I don't hate you. Not at all. I just fear you.

Why?

I fear men because I've been harassed and followed in broad daylight on a busy street and was literally no one intervened.

I fear men because I've been threatened with violence and r*pe. Exclusively by men.

I fear men because men perpetrate 90%+ of violent crimes against women. Men even perpetrate 90%+ of violent crimes against men.

I fear men because I was abused from age 7-17 by two adult male cousins. And when I finally brought it up at age 12, I was laughed at and the men were excused.

I fear men because if I don't say no forcefully enough, r*pe is my fault.

I fear men because if I say no forcefully enough, it might trigger anger and violence.

I fear men because I've been cornered on the bus and no one would help.

I fear men because of all of the angry, hateful, bitter things I've heard, seen and read on YouTube, Reddit, and social media in general.
