After 2 years of sneeding, PGA has decided that money is worth more than morals and agreed to merge with LIV, backed by Saudi Arabia. As a reminder, this was PGA's stance last year. Loyalists to the PGA have been thoroughly humiliated as they turned down contracts worth up to $800 million (in Tiger Woods case) for it to not really matter in the end.
As expected, reddit is handling it well:
So LIV golfers just essentially made a shit ton of money and nothing changed? I’m confused
You left out the part where the PGA went on a year long rant about morality and refusing to take money from the Saudis only to immediately take money from the Saudis at the first opportunity
This is my favorite part. And all the redditors who just got cucked by the PGA & their "heritage & tradition"
Hey wait, that’s me 🥴
PGA really made themselves look like a joke. Cash really rules everything.
Always has
And on, and on. If you sort by new, plenty of fresh seethe in both the /r/golf and /r/sports threads. Meanwhile /sp/ is acting smug at libcucks and redditors getting owned epic style. Post yfw you didn't look out for number 1 and got clowned on anyways

None of these people are worth this sum of money. Wedge game and power putting into the ether.
