Saudi-backed LIV golf 
tournament takes over PGA. Redditors cope 
After 2 years of sneeding, PGA has decided that money is worth more than morals and agreed to merge with LIV, backed by Saudi Arabia. As a reminder, this was PGA's stance last year. Loyalists to the PGA have been thoroughly humiliated as they turned down contracts worth up to $800 million (in Tiger Woods case) for it to not really matter in the end.

I don't think they're entitled to anything. However, what is stopping Mcilroy, who to my admittedly out of date knowledge is a very famous player that draws viewers, from threatening to retire in order to get the Saudis to back up a dump truck and give him the cash they initially offered him?
