Ignoring your coach is gonna get you bitched out big time and possibly benched especially at the college level so players are gonna trust their coach isnt a gigatard when he calls the play.

They could have ended the game with a win by kneeling and letting the clock run out.

Instead they ran the ball which risks the other team stealing the ball and getting a chance to score. Then that happened.

Oh yah i remember in one of the sportsball movie where they did the kneeling thing to honour the coach instead of getting a new touchdown record for a player lol
