https://old.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/182sa7d/simon_stone_pep_on_man_city_charges_and_everton?sort=controversial

“Ours is much worse”, he continued

Everton cooperated with the PL for the investigation and City didn't tbf, so yeah the cases are different

+10 points

he's not wrong, one of them is a single breach, the other is 115 breaches.

Not comparable at all, Everton shall be deducted another 10 points for dragging the good name of the UAE royal families through the dirt.

''We got money for good lawyers''

Yeah yours seem waaaay worse

Well, you're right. City and Chelsea are 300% worse. But nothing will happen…

He's right, they are completely different. Man City have done far more damage.

I try to avoid football social media these days but it's unavoidable sometimes. Are Arsenal fans really still that mad about the Newcastle game?

Lmao holy shit. How do Arsenal even have fans these days? They were globally popular 20 years ago when they were good but they've been pretty bad for a decade now, yet there's still a solid pipeline of Malaysian teenagers supporting them.

They're a big enough club so that you're not in the weeds with the minnows and have enough of a chance to win but also not one of the big bad clubs that make you feel like a glory hunter for supporting them ala ManU. Also, they're the first name in FIFA.

Their skill 20 years ago was a big part of it but back then them being the first English club to have black players is really what boosted them as well. @AverageBen10Enjoyer.

I thought that Liverpool were the first club to show support for minorities https://i.rdrama.net/images/17008503157369542.webp

I'm fairly sure it was Arsenal in the early 80s with black players.

Linearly extrapolating you end up in 16th at 34 points above Bournemouth at 29 points. At this point I'd say you're still solidly looking to stay up.

Are you actually a City fan? I thought you were trying to be abrasive. What do you think of all of this?

There's no EPL team that I'm even slightly biased towards.

My actual take is that complaints about FFP are just unbearably cringe. I'm not necessarily a fan of U.S. style salary caps, but at least those are actually leveling the playing field. FFP (as applied against Manchester City) is just ossifying the existent hierarchy, and having opposing teams fans screaming for FFP sanctions leaves a terrible taste in my mouth.

You are not wrong but I am unwilling to give credit to a cuck like you.
