There is a reason they want out of the ACC. It's a weak conference and everyone knows it.

I'd argue that the ACC is about as top-heavy as the big 10, or even the SEC this year. Louisville, UNC, and Duke all over-performed this year, and FSU obviously should have been number 4 in the playoffs. Clemson with a down year still would probably do fairly well in the SEC or big 10. There's a reason the ACC had a positive out of conference record against the SEC
