Saban's tenure unironically made Bama a mostly out of state school, so a plurality of college educated in staters are Auburn raised.

For sure, but they are largely white Greeks from rich families that didn't get into Texas, UGA or Florida. So faux liberal women and coked up dudes

Auburn, like A&M, has always been filled with the “grew up in the burbs but act like I grow up on the farm”types. Also like A&M, it's like a decade away from being suburban Atlanta (Houston in A&M case)

Texas yes I can vouch for that but the rich families don't seethe about missing out on UGA or Florida. But yes auburn has been very "look we're totally country" for ages

It's a good school and Athens is awesome so I get.

No different than all the dumbasses that go to Austin CC or blinn to get into UT or A&m

Maybe but as someone who went to the school in question I never met anyone wishing they could get to Georgia.

Texas though? Yes you could tell the rich families pouring money into the apartment complexes (thanks city for saying students can't rent housing and had to stay in apartments. That didn't instantly bite you in the butt) definitely were. Auburns culture and Athens are fairly different as far as their greek life.

Auburn, Texas, FSU and Clemson seemed to have a different experience from Bama, Georgia, Oklahoma and Florida in my experience.
