I wonder if the lead car had put on their 4-way flashers would have indicated they were stuck behind cycl*sts, not driving like an butthole on purpose causing the drunk loser to run the bothers down.

Is that a thing? You can see if the person in front of you is behind cyclists unless you're tailgating.
Also am I meant to understand this diagram? The killer driver is trying to drive on the hard shoulder because he thinks the car in front moved into the other lane just to stop him overtaking?

That's what I mean. I'm sure the killer was tailgating. The 4 ways could have pointed out that something was not normal. I do it when I see a radar speed trap so people behind me realize why I'm breaking for no reason

People have been prosecuted for doing things like that in TERF Island. The police will have someone watching the other lane and will stop anyone who flashes at oncoming traffic to warn them.
