I was just at the drug store and made to turn down an aisle with four men staring at office supplies. All four turned their heads slightly at me and it sent a shiver down my spine. There's no way to describe how depersonalizing it feels to be oggled and told to take it as a compliment. I just wanted to buy some body wash and razors, not streak through the store.
