Posting this from my throwaway account. I've been working in health equity for almost 15 years. I have worked with many kind-hearted white women who have the heart to address health inequities, but I think it's time we start addressing the issue.
Most of these White women (over 80% of them) in health equity are from middle-class. They think that they know all the answers to marginalized communities. They don't understand the needs from BIPOC. Yet, they are leading projects that impact us.
Why can't public health at least place poor White women to lead these projects?

also I didn't invent this scenario, this happens 4-5 times a week at any Walmart or Target.
their security guards are now required to train to administer narcan to resuscitate homeless r-slurs who OD, and they pass the cost onto the pricing

It would be better for everyone if they just let the junkies die in there. Just close the bathroom off for half a day when that happens is all I'm saying

Those bathrooms don't have good ventilation. The junkies prepare their shit on the Koala changing tables that you're supposed to put human babies on.
If they're shooting up, sometimes they nick the vein and spray blood on the baby changing table and the sink and the potty.
If they're smoking fentanyl, they fold their aluminum and put the drugs on it, on the baby changing table.
Whatever they do, the fumes from combusted drugs don't leave the bathroom easily until the wagies are forced to prop it open and let it air out into the general store area.
Dead druggie, alive druggie, who cares. It's not a victimless crime.
