I don't see why talking about clubs like zoos is that much of a stretch, it's not like women go to clubs wearing clothes that barely cover their bodies because they are looking for people to engage in conversation about the nuances of Shakespeare's literary craft.
And "pick up women" just means to meet women and try to shoot your shot, it doesn't necessarily mean acting obnoxious.
