I had a male gyno threaten to have me committed for an eating disorder while smirking because I wanted my thyroid levels retested as I had gained some weight unexpectedly. No conversation between that, just, "I could have you hospitalized for an eating disorder," while I panicked and backpedaled. I was 5'5" and 144 lb. I had never had an eating disorder and showed zero symptoms of one. I was too terrified to report him and it was his word against mine and in the South.
