I don't get it. It's common sense that age gaps are a barrier. But what do the redditors want here? For young women to follow a whole bunch of logical rules to quickly snatch the perfect husband then go have kids? Avoid everyone with red flags. Obey all advise. Choose the most realistic suitor. Except that's terribly boring and unromantic. People choose the relationship with a barrier to overcome for a reason. Otherwise, there's no conflict. There's no drama. No question, no desire. When these relationships fail, well-adjusted people come to accept and even enjoy the tragic story it creates. An age gap romance isn't going to leave you wrecked and scarred and unable to properly live the rest of your life unless you're an insane BPD chick. Let people have their dramas so they can more easily conjure desire.

With age gap relationships, I only really see 50 year old man-children dating late 20s/early 30s somewhat insane foids, and because of the immaturity bringing him down to her level, they loop around to being able to bond and work together. The relationships actually seem alright, they never last long term but they probably were never meant to. I never really see anything else, even gold-diggers (I'm sure they exist).
Really it's only actually bad if they have kids. There's such a high risk of the kids coming out as rdramaposters

Most people have shit DNA so their kids will be r-slurred no matter what they do and every year the incidence of autism gets higher irrespective of age (because that's a moneymaker for the mental health and education complex) I long suspected that part of the increase with an older father is due to increased resources and more healthcare.

Just anecdotally I've seen so many kids born to older parents have congenital health problems, it's more the mother but often the father too.
They also can't really parent, it'd suck going to soccer practice and your dad can't participate because he's too old, and everyone thinks he's your grandpa.
