I can't imagine having toddlers in my 40s that sounds fricking miserable.
My aunt (mom's younger sister) gave birth to her first daughter at 36 and her second at 40 (pushing 41), despite being married since she was 21.
My parents don't get it either, they say they're happy they can enjoy their 50s without having to worry about kids at school, doing stuff like traveling alone (they still have to pay for my sister's college but whatever lol).
Going into a trade or a skilled Pogue MOS/ROTC at 18 and having kids in your 20s is probably a good route to go. Your earnings always go up and you're done by the time you're 40 something
The marginal happiness gained by getting a graduate degree and fancy job is questionable

How can I invest in IVF?
Somewhat serious post, This is a failure of society. I can't imagine having toddlers in my 40s that sounds fricking miserable.

That's my thinking, I get why people wait. I waited until I had a decent career but a lot of that was self inflicted since I fricked around in college
Truthfully 27-30 is prime age. Kids out of the house by 50, hopefully cash flow is a lot better by mid 50s

Yeah. Plus the older you are, the harder it is to deal with young kids. A 2 year old at 25 is a handful. At 50 it probably takes years off your life.

They're evolving into Hobbits. Pretty
soon they won't come of age until 33.
Maybe people will get better longevity out of it. Or maybe just more autism
