I think it's telling that reddit sides with the chick in this case, despite the fact she is the one who drinks and has a bunch of dumbass animals that are causing problems. He is obviously dumping her, not the other way around.
Usually I expect the guy to have a bunch of dumbass animals and a drinking problem rather than the woman.
Also I think it's funny that reddit never thinks you should change yourself or undergo any self-improvement whatsoever in a relationship. If you are even slightly incompatible you should just break up. The idea of changing religion or going sober or stopping some hobby for the love of your life is completely out of the question (despite the fact that in the real world convert all the time).
