lmao remember that time Canada tried forcing Meta/Facebook to pay a bunch of money to Canadian news orgs simply because users (not Meta itself) linked to them? Facebook just banned those links in Canada, news orgs saw traffic drop and never got a cent.
I just can't get over thinking that the Canadian market is in any way large enough to bully giant companies like Facebook around lol
