African innistrad would be cool. It's an entire world, not a country. African superscience villages surrounded by the darkest horrors of African folklore. Stone walls with machine-gun turrets manned by sacred ancestor brains, an entire nation of evil mad scientist white people who enslaved the natives, heroic science-hero freedom fighters, cursed farmhouses, white dogs, shapeshifting monsters, hook vampires, talking skulls, albinos, evil witch-doctors, good witch-doctors, benign possession as a form of therapy etc. If you want black people in gothic horror world than make a place for them to be from.
