I fricking hate 10th edition.
Send me back to 3rd and 4th edition when the game system still had SOVL

10 looks good on paper because its easy for newcomers to learn the rules but is also cost-prohibitive as frick for newcomers which defeats the point of dumbing down the rules, and if GW wanted to be gay like this they should at least pump out way more Combat Patrols.
GW has been cost prohibitive for at least a decade. It still doesn't stop people from buying in.
I like that it's simple, I love that templates don't exist. I play a lot of war games and when things get bogged down in rules it stops being fun. My biggest issue with 10th, I've only played a little, are stratagems and having to keep track of score throughout the game.
I'm trying to get back into fantasy and the idea of learning the rules is really yucking my yum.
I printed my whole 40k ork army this week for around $20. GW can get stuffed.

3rd and 5th were great. I like the two games of 10th I've played. Way better than I think 8th or whatever the shitty last one I played was.
