I mean I'm not an expert and not one to poo-poo on blockchain scaling but I believe Monero is pretty heavy as far as block size goes, no?
If the relativity simple Bitcoin has pretty poor scaling story and a still pretty rocky layer 2, I don't see Monero being a great general purpose coin anytime soon.

As a medical professional all I can say is you're playing Russian roulette with your health buying from second or third world countries. Unless you are undergoing routine bloodwork to verify your levels you are accepting very high risk and people die from this sort of black market/grey market stuff infrequently because the quality regulations there suck butt.
