I had one dog "clock" me when I worked at a vet early transition. Thankfully the place was super queer friendly and I could be openly trans.
The dog (who didn't like men) saw me and had a happy expression, stopped, tilted head in confusion, back to happy, stopped, tilted head the other way, then went back to happy.
My coworker and I just giggled at how cute he was and she said, "oh I know sweetie she's kinda confusing but she's really friendly" the dog later accepted my identity as a non man and let me give scratches later
