It's easy to say he will round us up and put us in camps. But it probably won't look like that. They probably won't be called "camps." It probably won't be called "rounding up." It will be more subtle than that. That subtlety makes it even more dangerous because it will be easier for cisgender people to miss it. They'll be affected too, though, so their awareness is critical for both us and themselves.

Oh wow, no camps? I'm just hearing this for the first time! What will he do then?

Under Trump, trans oppression may look like banning hormone replacement theory, followed by arresting those of us who try to obtain hormones anyway. It might look like requiring gender markers on IDs to match our s*x assigned at birth, and then charging those who continue to use the ID that matches our gender with fraud or perjury. It could also look like involuntary commitment to mental institutions. All of these, even if rarely enforced, create an environment of fear, where we always wonder when the next law or crackdown will come.

Corporations across amerikkka will reduce trans codes characters in media, trans consumer items, and even non trans things like drag queens and gay shit will drop 20%.

This, coupled with the devastating effects of removing pornography access for minors will eliminate at minimum 50% of the trans community

The creators of hits like "Abolish the police doesn't actually mean abolishing the police", "Climate change will kill us all in 12 years but we won't be actually dead in 12 years" or "Abolish private property doesn't mean you cannot own things"

are releasing their latest blockbuster "They'll round us up and put us in camps, but there won't be any camps or rounding up"

Trying to encapsulate the BIPOCedlyness of state violence into words just sounds like hyperbole. Either someone can see it or they need to be made to see it.

I'm trying to think of any topic they're not disingenuously hyperbolic liars about, and the only one I can think of is abortion restrictions.

There's definitely way too much alarmism around abortion too, like the people getting sterilized because they might get pregnant and might have a complication and die are complete lunatics.

But yeah in terms of actual laws and the fact there are actual people who have died abortion is probably least hyperbolic.
