Satan is appealing, but not cool or good. His appeal is a reflection of our own twisted desires.
Think of Satan as a three-patty triple bacon cheeseburger. You might be really hungry and want it, but there are much healthier things to eat.
That said, you're right about the music. Christian music is almost universally terrible.
