This one's easily explained.
See, the priest literally IS Christ, or IS for the duration of the service anyway, just like the communion wafer literally IS the flesh of Christ and the communion wine literally IS the blood of Christ.
That's why if, during a service, the priest says you have to give him a discrete handjob, well, you just have to, because YOU DONT SAY NO TO CHRIST.
