I played and started from Destiny 2, but I'd have breaks every so often for a few months and everytime I came back it was like "oh but you need this and this to be up to date that'll be $150 and don't forget season of the shekels, that'll be $30, and don't forget the year x time gated raid/treasure event with items you can't get elswhere, that'll be $20" so I just tapped out because they ask for money everytime I fricking log in. It's great they keep getting expansions, but frick it cost up the butt to keep up to date, for a fricking video game. I wish I could just play every so often without being so behind without being an neurodivergent daily login player.
