KotOR and Mass Effect 1 both did the character interactions better (and both look better). Jade Empire probably did too, but I haven't played that. Witcher 1 is just a better version of the combat system focused on one person rather than a group. As far as being an RPG, there's tons of fantasy games that are better for autism character building/rpg stuff. It's so mid I have to assume it's lots of people's first fantasy RPG if they love it.
