The game has new modern controllers, you can press one button to launch any special. So it kills the point of the game since any homo will be able to do those one frame combo special chains. Somehow the game was also ultra blurry on ps5 and it smell very millennial like the game thinks it’s 2002 and 50 cent is doing his birthday instead of his colonoscopy. Story mode is decent a character making is decent I was able to make my cutiepie
Edit: forgot to ad this game character per default is black and it makes sense since 2nd neurodivergent gender after Asian are blacks that play fighting games

I don’t play 2d game online but when dead or alive made for newbies one button hold, it broke the game. Like the game has high mid low / push / kick so 6 inputs for hold like <- H would hold only mid punch and -> mid kick but some character had something like -><- that would hold two types of punch but newbie mode made that you press H and it would hold the next opponent move if you’ll just press after opponent pressed attack.
That thing made newbies stronger than any non ultra autist since you don’t even know often if the punch is high or mid but for newbie it was enough to press H

I can't say for sure because I haven't played any SF besides a few minutes on FightCade but SF looks worse than most fighting games.
And i'm not saying ''looks'' as in graphics only, it's a lot of stuff.
Character designs are mostly garbage that actively hurts to look at.
The last time graphics and aesthetics didnt look like hot garbage was Third Strike.
Combos don't look interesting (SF6 seems to be better at this though)
The world tour mode is... something else.
