i don't remember. i wanna say it was ALIEN ships? maybe sentinel ships now that i'm thinking about it, since "alien ship" would be kinda dumb because ALIENS ARE EVERYONE IN THE GAME.

Oh yeah Interceptor (the sentinel ships) was the first update of 2023. A whole butt new race and questline was added over the summer with new planet types, heavily overhauled ship combat (pirate dreadnoughts and shit), STAFFS etc

new planet types sounds cool. i think they fixed the switch version from the mess it was (every time i got in the new ship and took off the game crashed). maybe it's finally time to actually fly my new ship for the first time!

Oh that's my bulky butt jet pack I got as an expedition reward, it's HUGE and GREAT and the temporal jetpack trail is SO COOL
But yes the interceptors are the new meta, you can get the maneuverability to over 4000 with proper supercharged slots and upgrades and their default photon cannon is insanely strong and they're SO GOOD upgraded and they are the first ship to have all black variants
I have 3 all black ones that all look very different and cool and Interceptor was a phenomenal update

how many did you have to find before you got 3 all black? i feel like it was kind of a lot to find one but maybe i just don't remember.

Each dissonant planet has one specific ship, it just comes in different tiers with different supercharged slot arrangements on that planet. So I farmed a couple hundred AI Beacons and just warped from dissonant system to dissonant system and checked the interceptor belonging to that system and if it wasn't all black and cool looking, I'd go off to the next system and repeat.
Then when I found a design and all black that I liked I'd spam the locators from within the atmosphere there until I found one with good slot placement
Then just upgraded to max at the space station
Yes, it was extremely time consuming
I did save the glyph address for the three planets with interceptors I kept tho and I can give them to you on Sunday if you want
