This is huge news, not only are thousands of people out of a job but it has worldwide ramifications for net neutrality, not sure why every site is just glossing over it like "so this happened, anyways..." Korea's corporate run government passed a law to allow them to put foreign internet services out of business in the country, in this case they would not negotiate with Twitch which means they only wanted them gone, which would be required to take over the esports market.
