AAA games are extremely expensive and take forever to make. I think AI will cut dev times in half once they can reliably generate environments, textures, and code. All you need then is story, voice acting, and other components which take relatively barely any time at all

The iGPU runs modern games at like 720p 30fps, lowest settings. Very demanding ones are more like 360p. It's not in any way comparable to console, even shitty Series S is much more powerful.

Consoles only lose money/break even early into the cycle. Since PS5 released, their cost of storage, memory and the SoC has probably halved.
Sony is also much less aggressive with price drops. MS has been dropping prices on Series consoles lately, Sony not really. Same with previous gen, when One S was selling for sub $200 Sony was keeping PS4 at $300.

This is what everyone said at the time when the first game came out, but the MP was surprisingly fun and unique enough to carry a community for 10+ years. All ND had to do was release a higher res version of what was an already good template with new guns, but they tried to turn it into some Fortnite killer live service monstrosity and botched it.
They didn't even include the first game's MP in their """remake""" they released on PC because they didn't want it to compete with the game they just cancelled
