Baldur's Gate is fun as frick

My actual most played game of the year was sims 4 though I have it in the EA app so it doesn't show up here

My stats are skewed because I pirate all my games. BG3 was pretty fetch. Trombone Champ is probably my GOTY.

This doesn't include the stuff I emulated, that being Dodonpachi Daioujou (would easily top hours) and the Armored Core games from 1 to Silent Line

I played most of my games through Xbox. Top three were Dark Souls Remastered, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections (no really), then Deep Rock Galactic

But of course this doesn't count the hours I sank into Fire Emblem on Switch

And for PC it was mostly Civ 4 just like every year

Put in another 2200 hours in Action Henk.

Don't really know about other video games, honestly. Are they any good?

Still waiting to play balders gate to give me motivation to get less behind on a bunch of work and home projects I'm behind on ..

One month of NMS and 2 of terraria (well, more like 3 weeks), not much else.

At least there's no 50+ day streak of star conflict this year, I'm not going to touch that garbage again anytime soon.

Would rather pay the $6-70 for the console experience on my tv and couch

Played a lot of smaller games this year. Strange to see Battlebit and TF2 there, didn't think I played either of them that much (haven't played them in months). Also, Red Dead Redemption 2 would have been in my top 5 (arguably 1st) if I'd bought it on Steam.

I don't know how to format the appearance but since I got a steam deck last month and figured out how to get dsda-doom to run on it with a wad selection front end it's 90% of what I've played. Everything else I've played since has been sporadic as I'm getting used to new games again. I don't know if it's bc I'm old or if there's too much selection but it's hard ti pick something and go with it for a long period that isn't something familiar but whatever it's neat.

Since final fantasy vii was on sale for $4 I got it the other day bc I discovered that there's mods that modernize the appearance easily. I haven't played it in like 30 years or wherever but having the game with high quality modern graphics, a replaced soundtrack, modern controls, ui and even integrated voice acting is a surreal and very fun experience. I'm not sure why they wanted a remake for so long when the fan community had all this available.

Not much to say, other than that, when you look at it you realize average Stellaris session is probably around 5h.

It's missing a shitload of hours in path of exile and 100% of the Warframe hours have been in the last 2 months with lots of afk so it's too inflated

Also, Tekken 7 has been entirely completely in practice mode offline and the sessions are so high because it crashes a lot if you alt tab
