The desire to stop micro transactions is admirable but I doubt this will have any impact worldwide.
They'll just change their practices in China to the disadvantage of Chinese players and then the Chinese players will riot and the law will get rolled back. If the company is big enough, it's probably already moved out of China for its own good. Hoyoverse, the creators of Genshin are managed by a shell company based in Singapore to get around any of the more ridiculous CCP demands.
