Islanders is an object-placing game in the style of a city builder; you're given about five buildings each turn and try to place them optimally in a 3D space. There's no management aspect, the points come from synergies between different buildings and natural features. It's only $2 in the current Steam sale, if you like simple puzzle games it's a steal.

Bought it last year (a few weeks ago).
I agree It's fun, it requires quite a bit of planing at times, but good island layout is often key to success, and my first run was also my best run. The (a bit overused) low poly - flat colour style is well done and nice to look at.
