Also, I'd be interested if you have any actual sources on those claims of Irish Americans not being considered white, those ideas seem to have gained popularity during the push to nullify the concept of whiteness but don't have historical validity that I'm aware of, other than some ethnic snobbbery that was and is common around the world to this day.
