I like grindfests as much as the next guy (e.g., Monster Hunter), but I have played Diablo 2 with several classes, and it's just spam the same button over and over again. Occasionally, I have to monitor my health, but the combat mindless.

That's was poe has uber bosses with thought out mechanics. You have to pay attention to the mechanics or you will get one shot, one even has a memory game lol. The combat is generally mindless to an extent though.
