Its every way worse game. It looks like shit. I have issue see where borders of arena is. Beocuse everything is this muted collored mesh that's low quality.
Game play is worse then 1. From how it feels to how fun it is. Weapons are meh. Power ups are meh. It is step down from 1.
Writing is biggest offender. It is full blow tumblar writing. Characters are cringe and gay. Writing is even worse. It is just bad

the music is weirdly bad too, it went from very unique and cool to a half assed videogamey attempt to mimic that type of music
it's the same composer so i don't know what happened, someone must have actually asked him to do that
in general it feels like they had nothing interesting to do with the game but people really liked the first one so they added a bunch of unnecessary and uninspired mechanics and story to get a sequel out and cash in on that hype
