I dont dislike them per se, many of them are pretty
cool, problem is the balance- one is always going 
to be better 
than the other, some heroes get real mediocre dogshit and others get insane 
buffs, effectively giving them a 2nd innate passive, like i mean look at the difference between 
Lion and Axe- Lion gets the manadrain facet- which is just something he already had, his second 
one is a meme, Axe gets One man army- an incredibly strong 
just extra passive

Same. In my last hero I combined facets with the other thing and got an ultimate with a built in ult charge mechanism.

The passives are far more based than anything league has come up with.
League passives: After 3 attacks, deal 150% damage on the 4th attack!!
10% bonus armor, just because. 
Dota passives: SILENCER CANNOT BE SILENCED. EVER. TECHIES NOW HAS 9 ITEM SLOTS. DAWNBREAKER REVEALS ALL HEROES WHEN IT BECOMES DAYTIME. GOOD LUCK FRICKERS, YOU'LL NEED IT.
Dota will always be more based than league because Dota has improved on every feature they've ever had.
