Yeah, the Bioware formula doesn't work in such a boring generic setting. I liked ME and Jade Empire and KOTOR, but with Dragon Age there's nothing going on except the gameplay mechanics and they're just not that good. If I want to play a game with a bad setting I'll play Troubleshooter and get the best mechanics ever.
