As you know soon new expansion is coming for ff14 so I decided to play it on ps5 to get trophies. I tried to log into the game and it blocked despite that psn account is already linked to square Enix.
Just launching a game is such pain in the butt nowadays

Enix had this thing they were doing for a long time where every game you had were linked. If you got banned from one it would disable your acc. That's when I stopped buying from them.
