Basically every company wants to release one game as service that will constantly make them money by selling skins aka Fortnite. So for example Sony forced every of their studios to make a game as service. They even had Spider-Man 2 mp that was supposed to be game as service where they would had sold you all the costumes they now giving “for free” (there is some leaked gameplay of that mp around)

Next trend is heck drivers 2 clones, ms already plans to release its clone later this year.
Thing is those business majors don't understand gayming has some art it also has some social shit. Like I know many play Fortnite just to hangout with friends. Releasing an new 70 buxx clone game has to offer something new so those people move to that new game for example people play more Diablo 2 than Diablo 4 because new game doesn't offer anything interesting and online only does a lot of damage to the game, like I tried hardest difficulty where you have one life, server randomly kicked me out and I lost my character because something killed it
